This site is equal parts resume, portfolio, and journal. A running document of what I'm up to as we all drift aimlessly through a seemingly infinite universe.

My name is Frank Reber. I'm co-founder and CEO of The Caffeinery, an award-winning specialty coffee company in downtown Muncie, Indiana. Prior to building a coffee empire, I spent the better part of a decade working as a recording engineer. I also taught post-audio production at Ball State University. I have an undergrad degree in audio production. I completed 90% of the Digital Storytelling and Journalism Graduate program before leaving to open The Caffeinery.

Musically I operate under two banners. White Lies & the Half Truth is my most active and collaborative work. Videor is my solo outlet, where I write and record a bit more sporadically. Prior to that, I played in a number of bands; Charlie Don’t Surf, Real Live Robots, Dead Animal Petting Zoo, Sal Summers & the Pink Love Headquarters, and more. Oh, and I was an intern under Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago for a bit.

I used to host Quality Noise Indiana on 93.5 FM in Muncie, IN. I’m also co-host of the Nom Syndicate Podcast.

I take everything I do seriously, just not myself.
